Casa con guiño is an old cortijo (farmhouse) that we have renovated. We offer our light, airy, spacious apartment for rent as a holiday home whilst we live in the remainder of the house so we can offer you help and advice, should you need it. Casa con guiño, "house with a wink" (at life !), is situated in the heart of Andalusia, just one hour's drive from Granada airport and 80 minutes from Málaga airport.
The holiday home (85m² + 80m² terrace) is fully equipped for 1-4 persons.
On the private, secluded terrace is a lounge pool with submerged seats (200 x 200 cm and 120 cm deep), for your exclusive use where you can sit in the water and relax, sipping from your glass of wine or just soaking up the sun.
The holiday home has a stunning view over the beautiful "Los Agrazales" valley and we have created a "mirador" on the terrace, where you can sit and view the valley and dream away in the seemingly endless landscape.
All the famous cities like Granada, Córdoba, Jaén and Málaga can be visited in a one hour and 15 minutes drive by car. Near to the house you can find the beautiful lake of Iznájar and the pretty little pueblos blancos of Iznájar, Rute, Algarinejo, Priego de Córdoba and Montefrio. You can discover the unknown Spanish Andalucian villages, but also walk along fantastic olive groves and there is a possibility for mountain biking.
The village swimming pool (open in July and August) and restaurants/bars of Fuentes de Cesna are a 5 minute drive
from casa con guiño with the villages of Algarinejo and Iznájar a 15 minute drive.

Surroundings
Located in the still largely undiscovered Andalucian inland, bordering the provinces of Granada, Córdoba and Málaga. The land here is known for its hundreds of thousands of olive trees and beautiful pueblos blancos (white villages), many with pre-historic and Roman ruins, medieval churches and castles.
  
   
Andalucia is the southernmost part of Spain. Casa con guiño is located in the Poniente Granadino area. An area, still not discovered by tourists with many mountains, olive groves and unspoilt natural views. There is very little industry to be found in this part of Andalucia and the main way of life is olive farming.
The Andalusians seize every opportunity for a fiesta. If you want to see people in flamenco dresses, visit local festivals or come to visit on May 15 to Algarinejo. Here you can celebrate the fiesta of San Isidro with local people which is a great procession which ends with a picnic for everyone in the Jardin Romantico on the outskirts of the village.
   
Natural areas in the vicinity: Parque Natural de Fuentes de Cesna, Poniente Granadino and La Subbética.
In these beautiful areas you can walk and discover the Andalucian flora and birds. You can find the Eagle, Goldfinch, Blue Magpie or Bee-eater. You can see many birds and animals just with a stroll through the olive groves surrounding casa con guiño.
   
Casa con guiño is located in the heart of Andalucia and therefore ideally suited to visit the big cities. Granada with the Alhambra Palce and gardens, Córdoba with the Mezquita mosque and cathedral, Málaga with its beaches and the Picasso Museum and for many tourists, the still undiscovered city of Jaén. There is also the possibility of skiing in the Sierra Nevada.
